About the designer
Irene Makhavhu is a Limpopo-born fashion designer with more than nine years of industry experience. A graduate of the Durban University of Technology, she launched her own label in 2015 after beginning her career by supplying a childrenswear range to a leading retail store.
Known for her sophisticated yet timeless designs, Makhavhu creates bridal, fashion and ready-to-wear pieces that celebrate individuality and craftsmanship. Her talent has earned her industry recognition, while her expertise now spans design, styling and production.
Her label is stocked at THE SPACE boutiques and BIG BLUE stores nationwide, bringing her distinctive designs to fashion lovers across South Africa.
