Heritage Month provides an opportunity for South Africans to celebrate the country's rich cultural diversity and traditions. Throughout the month, communities across the country showcase their heritage through language, food, music, dance and fashion.

In this edition, we feature the work of acclaimed fashion designer Kwenzekile Nkomo, founder and Chief Designer of Indoni Fashion House.

Based in Durban, Nkomo leads one of South Africa's well-known fashion brands, recognised for promoting African culture through contemporary and traditional designs. Her creations celebrate the beauty of South Africa's heritage while embracing modern fashion trends.

A multi-award-winning designer, Nkomo is also a fashion stylist who has built a reputation for producing unique and elegant garments that reflect African identity and pride.

As South Africans mark Heritage Month, wearing locally designed attire is one way to honour and showcase the country's diverse cultural heritage.
